Adam LaVorgna

Adam LaVorgna is a film and television actor best known for his work on the long-running TV family drama "7th Heaven." He made his TV debut at the age of eight with a small role in the rags-to-riches film "29th Street" and soon landed roles in shows like "As the World Turns" and the TV miniseries "Sinatra." He landed a breakout role in 1991 on the short-lived series "Brooklyn Bridge," as a young Jewish boy growing up in 1950s Brooklyn. His performance led to bigger roles in films like the 1994 animals-gone-wild comedy "Monkey Trouble" and the Fran Drescher romantic comedy "The Beautician and the Beast." In 1999 LaVorgna joined the cast of the Aaron Spelling primetime series "7th Heaven." LaVorgna's role as Robbie Palmer, a troubled young man who brings heartbreak to the Camden family, lasted three years. During that time he dated on-screen girlfriend Jessica Biel and appeared as Jonathan Taylor Thomas's best friend in the holiday comedy "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and as a hyperkinetic slacker in the misfit drama "Outside Providence." LaVorgna left "7th Heaven" in 2002 and has since appeared on the procedural dramas "Cold Case" and "CSI: Miami."
