Matreya Fedor

Up-and-coming actress Matreya Fedor made her big-screen debut in 2006, featured opposite Nathan Fillion and Elizabeth Banks in the slimy suspense flick "Slither." Directed by cult filmmaker James Gunn, "Slither" garnered recognition for "Highest Body Count" at the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards. Fedor piggybacked on the success of her macabre debut, landing a supporting role in the horror anthology film "Trapped Ashes," and guest-starred on a pair of episodes of the small-screen CW hit "Supernatural." The following year, Fedor earned the envy of young women everywhere when she appeared alongside Hollywood hunk Ryan Reynolds in the serendipitous comedy "Chaos Theory," about a control freak forced to loosen up for love. Another romcom called "The Break-Up Artist" came next, with Fedor playing the ten-year-old counterpart to Amanda Crew's character. Transitioning to TV, she played the impulsive lead character's kid sister in Nickelodeon's preteen adventure series "The Troop." In 2011, Fedor snagged a principal role on the Canadian high school sitcom "Mr. Young" as secret crush of the title character (a 14 year-old child prodigy turned science teacher). Airing on youth-centric cable channel YTV, "Mr. Young" was named the network's number one show in its premiere season. Fedor has appeared in every episode of the series.
