Matt Ritchie

Matthew Thomas Ritchie is a professional footballer who plays as a winger or wing-back for EFL League One club Reading. Ritchie represented the Scotland national team from 2015 to 2018. Prior to joining his first club Portsmouth for a second spell in 2024, he played for Swindon Town, Bournemouth and Newcastle. Although born and raised in England, Ritchie qualified to play for Scotland through his Scottish father Alex.
