Ray Santiago

Raymond Santiago was born in The Bronx, NY. Santiago began collecting feature film roles as a teenager, starring in the Michelle Rodriguez movie "Girlfight" (2000) and the biographical picture "Piñero" (2001) before even graduating from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in 2002. He kept busy through the coming years, appearing in notable comedy films like "Meet the Fockers" (2004), "Accepted" (2006), and television shows like "My Name Is Earl" (NBC 2005-09) and "Dexter" (Showtime 2006-2013). Santiago's first major recurring part came with the family sitcom "Raising Hope" (Fox 2010-14), on which he played Javier, a troublesome friend to Lucas Neff's main character Jimmy. Around this time, Santiago tried his hand at the otherworldly, appearing in sci-fi entries like "In Time" (2011) and "Touch" (Fox 2012-13). This fixation on genre work led Santiago to a costarring role on the horror series "Ash vs Evil Dead" (Starz 2015-), a small screen adaptation of Sam Raimi's cult favorite. On the program, Santiago played Pablo, a sidekick to monster-fighting titular hero Ash, played by Bruce Campbell.
