Two years have passed since the attack on Airikku; Tsunashi is in Delmere and now makes ends meet gambling his knife juggling skills; he finds himself in a rough situation after making a small fortune off an unsavory fellow.

Tsunashi and Appun have a momentary relief from the mechanized infantry, but it is only a matter of time before they are back on the run; Tsunashi asks Appun if the machines have any weakness in addition to their heads.

A strong country, the Kingdom of Bones invades the world; a young man, Tsunashi, who is born to save the world as The Swordsman of Light agonizes over his fate.
