S1, E15: Nick hurts his back playing touch football and Jess discovers that he doesn't have medical insurance. She takes him to see her doctor friend Sadie, even though Sadie is an obstetrician. During the examination, Sadie discovers that Nick may have a more serious underlying medical problem. Jess rallies the gang to help keep Nick's spirits up, but he can't avoid considering his own mortality while he waits for his test results.
