Dwight and the Schrute family gather for Aunt Shirley's funeral, and learn that she has left the farm to Dwight and his siblings. Dwight then tries to convince his brother, Jeb, and sister, Fannie, to stay and help run the farm.

Having invested in a restaurant with Ted Danson, Larry shops for waiters' uniforms in lieu of attending his dentist's dinner party. Following an emergency visit to his dentist (who learns why Larry skipped the party), Larry is left with two abnormally large front teeth.
Homeless once more and facing professional disappointment, Pete meets Sarah Silverman, who takes pity on him. When Sarah suggests that he try to find work as an audience "warm-up" comedian, Pete is presented with a job opportunity, where he's tasked with saving the day.
