Jim's sister Roxanne is pregnant and claims that Andy is to blame. However, everyone seems unsure about this story, especially Jim, who thinks that his sister may just be trying to trick everyone.

Jim works hard to please a new, wealthy client, Veronica. Andy initially finds the woman unsympathetic, but decides to go out with her anyway to secure a highly lucrative construction contract.

When Jim's son becomes attached to a Green Bay Packers football, Jim tries to turn him into an arch rival Chicago Bears fan instead.

Dana puts her name on one of Cheryl's presents to Jim, then takes all the credit when he raves about it.

New neighbours are supposed to move in with Jim and Cheryl because the house across the street is for sale. Their anticipation doesn't last long because their enemies, the Devlins, come to view the house and seem to be very interested in it.

Cheryl caters to Jim's every whim to make amends for a big fight they had the night before - except that Jim does not remember the fight at all.
