Zachary Mills's success as an actor began when he was a mere four years old. Mills's early acting career consisted of parts on a wide variety of programs such as "Malcolm in the Middle" (1999-2006), "Scrubs" (2001-2010) and "All of Us" (2003-07). He also appeared in "Cold Case" (2003-2010), "Numb3rs" (CBS, 2004-2010) and "The Ghost Whisperer" (CBS, 2005-2010). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "October Road" (ABC, 2006-08) and "Rules of Engagement" (CBS, 2006-2013). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Valley of Light" (CBS, 2006-07). In the early 2000s, he worked on the silver screen, taking roles in the suspenseful mystery "Hollywoodland" (2006) with Adrien Brody, the comedy sequel "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause" (2006) with Tim Allen and "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" (2007) with Dustin Hoffman. He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "October Road" (ABC, 2006-08) and "Rules of Engagement" (CBS, 2006-2013). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in "Changeling" (2008) with Angelina Jolie, the dramatic adaptation "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl" (2008) with Abigail Breslin and the dramedy "Steam" (2009) with Ruby Dee. He also was featured in the TV movie "Sweet Nothing in My Ear" (CBS, 2007-08). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Eleventh Hour" (CBS, 2008-09) and "Rita Rocks" (Lifetime, 2008-2010). Most recently, Mills acted in the Kyle Chandler blockbuster action movie "Super 8" (2011).
