After a very public breakdown, corporate executive Amy Jellicoe receives therapy at a holistic treatment centre. Upon her return, she finds her co-workers and family are not ready to accept the new Amy.

Amy's hopes to land a dream job take a hit, as do her attempts to reform her ex-husband Levi and mother Helen.

Amy considers leaving Abaddonn for a more socially responsible job.

Amy convinces Levi to go on a spontaneous kayaking trip but Levi's drug habit causes the weekend to go awry.

Amy confronts her problems with her own mother while dealing with car trouble and an ill-fated attempt to help another mother being deported as an illegal immigrant.

Amy's excited when a woman she met at Open Air arrives for a visit, but her time with Sandy soon leads her to reconsider her past relationships and future progress.
