After learning that her friends, as well as herself, are the magical Elements of Harmony, studious unicorn Twilight Sparkle is sent by her mentor, Princess Celestia, to Ponyville to study the magic of friendship with help from her friends.

Twilight Sparkle is put into a tale spin of emotions when Princess Celestia and Princess Luna decide to retire. Meanwhile, an ancient villain gathers up a group of evil characters to take over all of Equestria.

King Sombra plans to take over all of Equestria, while the Mane Six conciliate over the loss of the Elements and Tree of Harmony.

The Young Six respond to a magical summons from the Tree of Harmony, only to learn it has been destroyed.

Twilight and Shining Armor pit their wits against each other to settle a long-standing sibling rivalry, but they soon discover they are not the only competitors.

The Point of No Return
Twilight realises she never returned a book to the Canterlot Library and may have caused her favourite librarian to lose her job.

Rainbow Dash's old pal Quibble Pants needs help to bond with the daughter of his new special friend because, like Dash, she's a real sports pony.
