In `The Break In', TJ has to be rescued after he is caught in the kitchen stealing food, and is locked in. In `The New Kid', new kid Gus is picked on by Cruel King Bob, and TJ helps him establish his identity.

In this two-part episode, the gang hear a chilling story of what older students like to do with their time and the only solution is for two of the six to disprove it in the world's most unusual experiment, kissing. Principal Prickly wants to replace the school jungle gym, Old Rusty, but not if T.J. and the whole school can stop him.

In this two-part episode, Gus is unable to speak after being jinxed by the Ashleys. He can only talk again if someone says his name, which the Ashleys try to prevent. Mikey wants to become a safety ranger, which causes the gang to get help from others.

In `First Name Ashley', Randall finds out Spinelli's first name is Ashley, so she's forced to join The Ashleys,until TJ rescues her. In `To Finster with Love', Miss Finster's acting weird, and the gang thinks she's in love.

In `King Gus', King Bob chooses Gus to hold the fort for him while he's away, but the power goes to his head. In `Big Brother Chad', Vince is Mr Cool, so everyone's shocked when they discover his brother's a nerd.

In `My Fair Gretchen', Gretchen does well in an IQ test so the principal wants to send her to a special school. Can her friends save her? In `Speedy, We Hardly Knew Ye', Speedy, the school hamster, dies and the gang arranges a funeral.
