Botanist Angel (Miguel Bosé) has a weakness for women's feet -- a fact that Luisa (Emma Suárez) fails to recognize when he spots her in a flower shop and subsequently proposes marriage. The new couple moves into a mansion in the country, where Luisa begins to notice that something is amiss with her companion. Save for a disturbing nightly encounter, Angel ignores Luisa, until she finds entertainment in the arms of her old professor, Lucas (Juan Luis Galiardo).
