In the wake of her divorce, Alicia (Cecilia Roth) -- bored schoolteacher and mother of one -- longs for new love. Alicia turns to Internet chat rooms, where she finds partners for a series of unsatisfying encounters. Then Alicia begins a virtual flirtation with Zak (Nacho Aldeguer), a teenage boy who desperately wants to meet in person. But when Alicia spurns his advances in favor of the handsome Luis (Antonio Resines) -- an age-appropriate match -- Zak sends her life reeling out of control.
