Nicolau Breyner

Nicolau Breyner was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Breyner appeared in such films as the Shirley Jones comedy "The Secret of My Success" (1965), "Cronica dos Bons Malandros" (1984) with Joao Perry and "Encontros Imperfeitos" (1993) with Diogo Infante. He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Pereira Declares" (1998) with Marcello Mastroianni and the drama "Jaime" (2001) with Saul Fonseca. He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in "O Milagre segundo Salome" (2004), "Atras Das Nuvens" (2007) and the Soraia Chaves crime drama "Call Girl" (2007). He also appeared in "Corruption" (2007) and the Ivo Canelas mystery adaptation "O Misterio Da Estrada De Sintra" (2007). More recently, he continued to act in "Arte de Roubar" (2008), the Giovanna Antonelli dramatic adaptation "Budapest" (2009) and "Second Life" (2009). Breyner most recently directed the drama "A Teia de Gelo" (2012) with Diogo Morgado.
