Rob Heaps

British actor Rob Heaps appeared in theater productions and television series in his native country before making the leap to America for the dark comedy series "Imposters" (Bravo, 2017-) Heaps trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before working extensively in theater, including productions of Terrence Rattigan's "While the Sun Shines," "King Lear" and "Pride and Prejudice." His screen acting debut came in a 2011 episode of "Law and Order: UK" (ITV, 2009-), which was soon followed by his first prominent role as the poet Lord Byron in "Frankenstein and the Vampyre: A Dark and Stormy Night" (BBC Two, 2014), a documentary with dramatized scenes that depicted the 1816 trip to Geneva that led to the creation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Heaps then played fighter pilot Tom Halliwell in the second and final season of the much-loved World War II drama series "Home Fires" (ITV, 2015-16) before adopting a convincing American accent for the Bravo comedy-drama "Imposters," starring Inbar Lavi as a con artist whose job becomes complicated when she falls in love with one of her marks, played by Heaps.
