Tom Irish

Tom Irish was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Irish found his beginnings in film with roles in the comedy "Father of the Bride" (1950) with Spencer Tracy and the Spencer Tracy comedy sequel "Father's Little Dividend" (1951). Irish made film his next project, appearing in the crime picture "City That Never Sleeps" (1953) with Gig Young, "Hondo" (1953) and "Island in the Sky" (1953) with John Wayne. He also appeared in the biographical drama "Seven Angry Men" (1955) with Raymond Massey and the drama "Friendly Persuasion" (1956) with Gary Cooper. More recently, Irish appeared on "Beyond Black and White: Affirmative Action in America" (PBS, 1998-99).
