William Marlowe

William Marlowe was a prolific actor who created a name for himself largely on the big screen. Marlowe started off his career in film with roles in "Tunes of Glory" (1960), the Kirk Douglas dramatic adaptation "The Heroes of Telemark" (1965) and the Stanley Baker crime picture "Robbery" (1967). He went on to act in the Robert Shaw adaptation "The Royal Hunt of the Sun" (1969), the adventure "Zeppelin" (1970) with Michael York and "The Snow Goose" (NBC, 1971-72). He also appeared in "The Eyes Have It" (1973-74), "Revolution" (1985) with Al Pacino and the biographical drama "Cry Freedom" (1987) with Kevin Kline. More recently, Marlowe acted in "Gone Baby Gone" (2007) with Casey Affleck.
