The Camorrist

In the 1950s, a farmer's son is forced to witness the murder of a man. Years later, that child, now a man, finds himself in prison for murder. Nicknamed the Professor, he soon comes into conflict with the Camorra boss.

Both in and out of prison, the Professor has more 'loyalists', one of whom, as soon as he receives his freedom, clashes with The Malacarne. Meanwhile, the police begin to investigate his affairs.

The war between clans has begun, and the Professor wants to control his affairs in person. Commissioner Iervolino understands that the police do not have enough resources to stop the Camorra, but he still stops one of the Professor's loyalists.

The Professor returns to prison and, convinced that he has been betrayed by his most trusted man, makes an impulsive choice. Iervolino proceeds with his investigations and succeeds in getting the Professor transferred.

The Professor tries to agree with Commissioner Iervolino on the Red Brigades, but the police are not the only ones interested in the case. Some mistaken deals made by the Professor lead him to waver and doubt his power, but not his own blood.
