Diego and Lucia reflect on the story of their complex relationship. They dated in adolescence, but when they came of age their lives took different directions. She went to Barcelona and got married, and he never left the neighbourhood.

Diego and Lucia have an appointment with the school psychologist to talk about their children, and the visit highlights the differences between the couple. She believes in dialogue and communication, but Diego hardly knows his children.

Carmen begins to intrude too much in the family life of Lucía, Diego and the boys. Diego, annoyed to see that his mother-in-law secretly gives his children money, complains to his wife, and she assures her husband that she will speak to her.

The president of the Santa Justa Athletic Club passes away during a tribute dinner offered by the members. Andrés and Santiago compete for the position of president and the atmosphere of the neighbourhood gets affected.

Guille steals Eva's diary and tries to sell it to Raúl, convincing him that it will give him privileged information that will help him get closer to her. Raúl is not willing to pay him and decides to steal it.

At the Serrano tavern, Pepe, an old friend of Santiago, arrives and comes to confess that he is gay. The two friends have many things in common and they have both reached maturity without finding a partner.
