Hoping that finding Brennan will mean finding Swarek, she enlists the help of the other rookies to investigate the crash – where they discover an elaborate cover-up that incriminates one of their own… Detective Donovan Boyd. While Swarek struggles to survive Brennan’s vicious interrogation, the rookies figure out where he’s being held and race to the scene. Swarek is found and Brennan is arrested; but for Andy and Swarek, the celebration is short-lived.
