Kids From the Ghetto
S1, E1: Saïd M'Roumbaba, a.k.a. Soprano, has grown up in Marseille's northern neighborhoods, some of the poorest in France; son of Comorian immigrants, he is educated in both a French public school, which gives him a taste for words, and a Koranic school, where he discovers his voice; drawn to rap, the music genre emerging during his childhood, the young Saïd forms a group with his cousins, the Psy 4 de la Rime, much to the chagrin of his father.
