Jotunheimen, winter 1976. A 10-year-old boy is abandoned to die in a crevasse. Against all odds, he survives and fights his way back to the Stehøe mountain hotel, where he brutally murders his parents. Alone, he retreats to his new hiding place and lives in isolation from the outside world. Years later, the police officer who investigated the disappearance is once again on his way up to the scene, and riding along in his car are six young hitchhikers on an innocent mountain trip. Unaware of what they have gotten themselves into, they suddenly find themselves in the middle of a gruesome nightmare, and not everyone will wake up from it.
