Jamie McShane

The New Jersey native Jamie McShane began working on screen in 1997, amassing a solid collection of roles in small indie films and guest appearances on television. His first recurring role came on the third season on the terrorist drama "24" (Fox 2001-2010) as White House Press Secretary Gerry Whitehorn. McShane reunited with "24" co-creator Joel Surnow in Fox News' awkward attempt to create a conservative version of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" (Comedy Central 1996-), "The Half Hour News Hour" (Fox News 2007). Following another long stint of film and TV roles, McShane returned to series television as True IRA linchpin Cameron Hayes on the motorcycle gang drama "Sons of Anarchy" (FX 2008-14) for the show's first two seasons. McShane next appeared as Sergeant Terry Hill on the police procedural series "Southland" (TNT 2009-13). After that series ended production, McShane appeared in David Fincher's adaptation of the best-selling thriller "Gone Girl" (2014).
