Shamron Moore

Actress, model and writer Shamron Moore was born in Flint, Michigan, where she first took up modeling. After appearing in a national campaign for Cadillac (which is based in Warren, Michigan), Moore moved to Los Angeles to pursue her modeling career, where she eventually broke into acting. Her first feature role was in Richard Linklater's 2005 comedy "Bad News Bears," alongside such heavyweights as Billy Bob Thorton and Greg Kinnear. A remake of the 1976 film "The Bad News Bears," which parodied the traditional beats of the underdog sports movie, the movie found moderate success with filmgoers and critics. Though her first film was also her biggest and most high-profile, Moore subsequently appeared in the 2006 comedy "Pledge This!," which starred and was produced by Paris Hilton, and the 2008 horror comedy "Zombie Strippers!" It was also in 2008 that Moore was featured as one of FHM magazine's 100 Sexiest Women in the World. She has since taken a step back from show business to focus on her writing career. Her first novel, "Hollywood Strip," is a semi-autobiographical story about a young woman who falls into a part in a hit film and becomes an overnight sensation in the film industry.
