Ritsuka Uenoyama goes to a place in school where he doesn't think anyone will bother him, but runs into Mafuyu Sato holding a guitar with broken strings.

Ritsuka Uenoyama is a guitarist and high school student; one day as he's heading up the stairs to go to the roof, he finds a mysterious student sitting on the stairs; his name is Mafuyu Sato; Mafuyu persistently asks Ritsuka to teach him guitar.

Ritsuka starts teaching Mafuyu how to play guitar; Ritsuka couldn't help but wonder why a beginner like Mafuyu would have a guitar like the Gibson he owned.

In order to try to convince Mafuyu to join their band, Ritsuka takes the song that Mafuyu has stuck in his head and arranges it a bit.

Mafuyu has been on Ritsuka's mind lately and while they're at band practice, he keeps pointing out everything Mafuyu is doing wrong and can't seem to hide his frustrations.

The String That Broke Again
Ritsuka is scared of the lyrics Mafuyu is going to come up with and he can't sort through his feelings; Mafuyu's childhood friend Hiiragi tells Mafuyu that he regrets knowing everything that happened between him and his former boyfriend Yuki Yoshida.

Melody Lane
As Ritsuka runs to buy guitar strings, he remembers how hard Mafuyu had been working; as Ritsuka once again changes Mafuyu's guitar strings just like they first met, he tells Mafuyu his honest feelings.
