Juri Yukawa, a disaffected girl living with her family, receives a call from kidnappers demanding money for her captive brother and nephew in just 30 minutes; to meet the demand, her grandfather unveils a stone with the power to freeze time.

Juri and Grandpa are unable to rescue Makoto and Tsubasa when a group of mysterious men appear.

Juri heads to her house in search of the stone, but gets captured by a member of the Jitsuaikai.

As Juri gets a handle on her power to freeze enemies, Grandfather reflects upon a time when Juri first displayed her abilities as a child; Shoko has an encounter with a monster known as a handler.

Juri and Grandfather attempt to help Takafumi; Juri leaves a note warning Tsubasa and Makoto, but the cult gets to them first.

Juri comes to Tsubasa's aid when a specter begins to turn him into a dreaded Handler; the cult kidnaps Makoto; Shoko convinces Juri to destroy the Handler that possesses her family's spirits.
