S2, E1: Nanase Sakura, a high schooler who is on a school trip, sees an elderly woman lose consciousness and collapse. Nanase is sent into a panic, but the woman regains consciousness with the help of Kairi Tendo, a doctor who happened to pass by. Nanase falls in love with Tendo after seeing his quick response and decides to become a nurse with the hope of meeting him one day. Five years pass and Nanase is officially a nurse and decides to work at Hiura General Hospital, where the doctor she longs for also works. Nanase confesses her love to Tendo as soon as they reunite, but he does not remember their encounter five years prior and gives her a harsh rejection. Nanase is assigned to train at the cardiology department where Tendo works and attempts to show her abilities.
