Former "background artist" Andy Millman has achieved fame and fortune. His transformation from bit-part stand-in to household name is now complete. And he has the new, hot-shot agent to prove it. But best friend Maggie is finding life hard harder to fathom, as her luck has gone from bad to worse and she's on the breadline doing cleaning jobs to make ends meet. Andy's hit sitcom has suffered so many changes that it bears no resemblance to his original idea. As his discontent grows, could he pull the plug on his own show?
