K. J. Apa

Born in Auckland in 1997, KJ Apa found fame on the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street in 2013. He hardly had any acting gigs under his belt before finding his way to Hollywood and being cast as comic book character Archie Andrews in The CW's hit teen drama Riverdale (2017-present), an adaptation based on the famous characters from the Archie Comics. Apa would later star in the film A Dog's Purpose (2017).
