Leslie Hendrix
Actress Leslie Hendrix began acting in the early 1990s and has appeared in four of the "Law & Order" television series. Before breaking through on television, she worked on Broadway as Jessica Lange's understudy in the live production of "A Streetcar Named Desire." In 1992 she began her most notable role, as Dr. Elizabeth Rodgers on "Law & Order." She continued to play Dr. Rodgers throughout the 1990s, 2000s, and into the 2010s, reprising her role in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Law & Order: Trial by Jury," and the made-for-TV movie "Exiled." Hendrix also started a recurring role in the soap opera "All My Children," appearing in five episodes from 1997 to 2004. She made her full-length feature debut in 1998 with a character role in the critically acclaimed indie film "Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God Be Back by Five." The success of "Law & Order" brought Hendrix more exposure, which led to a more lucrative, supporting role in the romantic comedy "Sweet Home Alabama" in 2002, starring Reese Witherspoon. She continued to act into the 2010s and, aside from her work on the "Law & Order" franchise, earned a supporting role in the 2011 remake of "Arthur," which stars English comedian Russell Brand.
