Ray Vitte

Ray Vitte was an actor who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout his Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "Sky Hei$t" (NBC, 1974-75). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "America, You're On" (ABC, 1975-76) and "Mother, Juggs and Speed" (ABC, 1977-78). During the early stages of his Hollywood career, Vitte mainly held acting roles in films like the Richard Pryor musical comedy "Car Wash" (1976). In the seventies, he worked on the silver screen, taking roles in "Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke" (1978) with Cheech Marin, the musical "Thank God It's Friday" (1978) with Valerie Landsburg and "A Force of One" (1979). He also appeared in "Heart Beat" (1979) with Nick Nolte. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "David Cassidy -- Man Undercover" (NBC, 1978-79). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "9 to 5" (1980) and the crime flick "Cruising" (1980) with Al Pacino. He also was featured in the TV movies "The Man in the Santa Claus Suit" (NBC, 1979-1980) and "Grambling's White Tiger" (NBC, 1981-82). Vitte more recently acted on "The Quest" (ABC, 1982-83).
