Emma goes missing in the forest during a class outing, raising immediate alarm among the teachers and gendarmes. She reappears wearing her teacher Jade's scarf, whereas Jade herself has mysteriously vanished without a trace.

Another search party is organised to find Jade, and as Emma refuses to answer questions, rumours spread, and eventually reach Camille, who begins to wonder if her daughter might be involved.
