Commander Kepler suffers from a personality disorder and loses his job as a result. After being given a desk job and moving to Calais, he rebuilds himself with his family, but the body of a girl is found in a camp, forces him to return to the field.

Samuel Kepler suffers from a personality disorder: several passengers live side-by-side in his head. After one causes a police operation to end in tragedy, he is given a desk job in Calais.

The extreme emotion provoked by Lucie Martel's death threaten Samuel Kepler's recovery. When he discovers his daughter at the home of one of the suspects, Lucie's ex-boyfriend Mathias, his anger reaches crisis point.

After Rajka takes control, Samuel Kepler wakes up the next day on the beach. Mathias has been killed. Worried, Samuel tries to find out what happened during that night, but, short of medication, he's rapidly overwhelmed.

Alice arrests Kepler, but two discoveries throw new light on the investigation: the positions of the bodies appear inspired by a work by Auguste Rodin and the killer's real targets were the parents.

The killer seems to want revenge. Denounced by his psychiatrist, concerned for his mental health, Samuel is relieved of his post. He decided nonetheless to continue his enquiries.

In A Land Just Like You
Alice has been kidnapped. Samuel discovers the mass grave that proves the crime committed by the parents and follows the trail of a surviving daughter. Facing his own violence and that of the killer he decides to take control.
