Apollo's Song
Due to a turbulent and traumatic childhood at the hands of his single mother, Shogo Chikaishi (Shori Sato) is repulsed by the idea of love, instead keeping others at a distance. His only genuine bond is with his childhood friend Hiromi Watari (Akari Takaishi), but when he learns that she's romantically interested in him, his reactive disgust leads him to accidentally push Hiromi to her death. As punishment, Shogo is cursed by the gods to continually reincarnate and fall in love with Hiromi, but one or both of them will die before their love can be fully realized. Shogo is now forced to confront his greatest fear over and over again in the hopes that he might find a way to break free of the cycle and learn how to truly accept love into his life. This drama was adapted from the manga of the same name by Osamu Tezuka.
