Esther faces a great loss but is unable to reach her husband, and she decides to look for him; Evi is assigned a murder case that is linked to a couple Sylvia and Ingmar, suspected of human trafficking.

Esther reports Eric is missing and discovers painful information that raises even more questions; Evi's actions lead to a big confrontation with Gust; Ingmar gets into trouble with his Amsterdam rival, Elarbi.

Sylvia is confronted by the police with some painful information; Ingmar wants revenge after the disappearance of Imana; Evi stays over at Sam's place after Gust kicks her out.

A body is found at the Schelde; Evi and Sam continue to investigate Eric's disappearance; Esther decides to investigate herself and ends up in a difficult situation; Sylvia makes an appointment with the police.
