Oya returns to her hometown after twenty years, only to find that not much has changed - the wicked still lurk around every corner.

As Oya moves to the Sarmaşık complex, the unresolved issues of the past begin to resurface; secrets, jealousies and old scores buried years ago between Merve, Pelin, Arzu and Oya slowly come to light; the past between Pelin's husband Taylan and Oya further heightens Pelin's tension over Oya's return, while the balance at Sarmaşık begins to shift; Oya meets Serhan during a run in the forest and the powerful chemistry they feel at first sight foreshadows what is to come.

Murder and intrigue, as old wounds are opened by Merwe leading to an altercation. Oya has to confront her past and present.

Serhan's business is in trouble, and he struggles to cope. Arzu suspects that her husband is hiding a secret which could detonate their entire existence.
