The Spiral

Street artist Arturo is already known for his politically charged art, but in "The Spiral" he is devised his most ambitious work yet. With the help of a band of emerging artists, he plans to steal six masterpieces, but he is unexpectedly arrested.

The protégés reunite following the heist, and are shocked to find that Jakob has disappeared, along with his stolen painting. Meanwhile, Arturo is murdered while in Europol's custody, prompting them to double up their efforts in the investigation.

With the great pressure of Europol and the criminal underworld pushing them deeper into hiding, the protégés fall prey to paranoia and infighting that threaten to them apart. Meanwhile, Max, Ella and Oscar follow a lead on Jakob's disappearance.

Europol uncovers the safe house, and launches an exhaustive search for clues that eventually leads them to a slippery art dealer who knew of Arturo's true identity. An enigmatic criminal cabal kidnaps Sigrid to intimidate the other protégés.

With the explosive reveal of the stolen paintings imminent, the remaining protégés make a desperate last minute play for Sigrid's life. Hot on the trail of the murder case, Europol discovers a sinister source has been pulling the strings all along - a man with unexpected connections to Arturo and his artists.
