S1, E2: In the aftermath of the tragedy grief sets in and the investigation begins. Polly's best friend Angela, appalled that the kids are being scapegoated, unites the families to fight for justice. But unity falls apart when Harriet's assistant, and lover Tim, covers for Harriet by leaking emails showing that it was Debbie's husband Alan who was to blame. It falls to Polly, struggling to cope with Leona's condition and secretly harboring suspicions that Iwan is hiding something, to bring the town back together.
