Episode 9

S1, E9: With Heredia held in custody, Elias feels he's closer than ever to securing his freedom. He decides to follow up on the clue he received in jail, which he's sure will confirm Heredia's guilt. He asks Eva to go with him and she agrees, forcing herself to trust him again. The investigation takes an unexpected turn when we discover that Ana and Ezequiel's case is related to Eva's past. At the same time, Alicia is playing her own game, and it could be that she's the best player of them all... Eva and Elias's investigation seems to prove that Heredia is guilty. Now that Elias is convinced of his own innocence, he can leave the rational, pragmatic Elias of the past behind. He decides to leave Alicia, but as he's on his way to start a new life with Eva, he discovers a clue that proves that the guilty one is, in fact, him.
