S9 E1: Hercule Poirot brings a fresh perspective to a notorious 14 year old murder case. Caroline Crane was hanged for the murder of her flamboyant artist husband in an apparent crime of passion after he flaunted yet another extra-marital affair. Their 21 year old daughter returns from Canada, having just learned the truth about her parents. She persuades Poirot to re-examine the case, but the original witnesses to the crime are not so keen to dig up the past. Also starring Rachael Stirling, Aiden Gillen, Toby Stephens, Gemma Jones and Marc Warren.
