Great-Yakari

S5, E23: Pursued by a hungry lynx, Wide-Eyes the bassaris is saved at the last second by Yakari and Little-Thunder, who happened to be passing through the forest. Yakari was searching for arnica flowers for his mother who needs them to make a pain remedy. In order to protect his friend Wide-Eyes from the lynx, Yakari suggests he join them on their search. The bassaris agrees, especially since he has just learned of the existence of Great-Eagle, Yakari’s totem. When Yakari saves him from the lynx a second time, Wide- Eyes becomes convinced that Yakari is his own totem: Great-Yakari! At first, the little Sioux is amused, but he soon realizes that he absolutely has to prove Wide-Eyes wrong. Now terrified by the natural world around him, the bassaris even wants to come and live in his totem’s tepee! The lynx’s final attack, coupled with the unexpected power of the arnica flower, will bring him back down to earth...
