Measure of a Man

S2, E9: When the USS Enterprise arrives at a newly-established Starbase, Data is ordered to serve Captain Bruce Maddox, who wishes to disassemble Data to study him. When Data learns that Maddox may not be able to reassemble him, he refuses and Picard is enlisted to defend his rights in court.
