S1 E3: Meggie Foster reconstructs the infamous staircase central to the murder of Kathleen Peterson. Kathleen’s husband, novelist Michael Peterson, is the prime suspect. His defense team argues that Kathleen fell down the stairs after consuming alcohol, but police investigations reveal a number of chilling secrets about Michael, and incredibly he may have committed the exact same crime years earlier.
