S2, E8: In an attempt to save Aelita from the Scyphozoa, Yumi finds herself engaged in a brutal combat against the monster. Shortly afterwards, Jeremy sees that, as a result of the combat, Yumi can no longer be devirtualized. In fact, it looks like a vital part of her is missing: her virtual DNA code!
