New Crane On the Dock

S21, E9: Carly is the new crane at Brendam Docks and she is awake early and keen to start working. Cranky tries to be polite and obliging, but very soon he finds himself with nothing to do as Carly busily loads and unloads most of the trucks and ships arriving at the docks. An irritated Cranky starts to work harder and faster in a bid to keep up with newcomer Carly. As the two cranes frantically try to outdo one another their hooks become entangled and they find themselves stuck fast and unable to move. It’s Salty who resolves the situation with one of his famous sea stories, showing Cranky and Carly that teamwork is more productive, and working together is always best.
