S1, E7: The Christmas Agricultural Ball brings the promise of fame and fortune when Boycie and Marlene are introduced to titled gentry Rupert and Jonty. Large profits tempt the Boyces to invest in the couples new polo club and gain them an invitation to a chalet in St Moritz for Christmas to finalise the deal. However, the alleged 'The Curse of Winterdown Farm' traps the family and staff in Shropshire for the whole festive season, ruining Boycie's chance of fortune and a possible knighthood.
