The Big Freeze

S21, E14: It’s winter on Sodor. The steam engines are still waiting for the coal delivery to arrive when the weather takes a turn for the worst and everything freezes. The engines carry on with their work but the coal still doesn’t arrive and the next day there is not enough fuel. The Fat Controller confines the steam engines to the sheds. Only Thomas refuses to listen thinking he has enough coal to complete one more journey and runs out of coal halfway along the line. The diesels keep the railway running while the steamies wait for coal in their sheds. No matter how much he begs him Diesel refuses to help Thomas back to the shed. So Thomas Annie and Clarabel try to keep their spirits up on the cold siding but when Diesel comes back from the mainland with the coal delivery for once he is actually the hero!
