The Round Tower (Part 2)

S13, E2: Angus is furious at Ratcliffe's allegations and plans are made to send Vanessa away. Brett is unable to face up to what he did and commits suicide. Angus discovers Vanessa's living conditions after she runs away and asks her to marry him. Their wedding is a dismal affair and they are greeted with hostility. Rejected by both families Vanessa takes an overdose.
