The Scarecrow

S2, E12: Poor old Alf – he's planted a big garden full of juicy raspberries and the naughty birds are busy noshing them all!!. Time for a scarecrow which happily has just arrived at Pencaster Sorting Office. Funny thing, though, it's the spitting image of PC Selby! – well, if a policeman can't scare away the birds what can?! Lots of cases of mistaken identity and cheeky tricks being played on Pat pepper the path to delivery this time, with Pat finally getting the Scarecrow to the field and the birds hot-winging it out of Alf's garden just in time!.
